Mariemont is a planned community village located in Hamilton County. Hyde Park

Hyde Park is a great option for those who wish to be near Cincinnati, but still get a more relaxed, suburban experience. Located only a few miles from the city, it’s been named by Forbes as one of “America’s Best” neighborhoods due to its high education levels, plentiful shops and restaurants, and renowned schools like Clark Montessori. The median home value is $375,902, and the median household income is $83,146.


As one of the oldest suburbs near Cincinnati, Wyoming has a historic feel, densely-populated area, and tons of fun shops, restaurants and cafes – as well as plentiful parks, and some of the best public schools in the area. Median home value is $305,300, with a median household income of $118,947.

Montgomery is a bit farther from Cincinnati, but an excellent place to live in the area. It has a more traditionally suburban feel, but maintains plenty of restaurants, shops and parks, and it also has a very highly-rated public school district. The population is about 10,587, and the median home value is $343,800, with median household income coming in at $115,489.


As one of the wealthiest suburbs of Cincinnati, Madeira is an excellent choice if you want to live in the area. The school district is particularly well-known, with the nearby Indian Hill and Walnut Hills elementary and high schools receiving top rankings. It’s been ranked as the #2 best suburb to raise a family by Niche. Median home value clocks in at $266,400, with median household income coming in at $97,292.
